Getting An Independent Care Plan

Unsafe at School:
Advocating for Children with Type 1 Diabetes

Committed to helping children with diabetes receive the support they require in BC schools

Unsafe at School was started by a group of parents
who are concerned about the lack of support in British Columbia schools
for children with type 1 diabetes.

We are currently lobbying government to provide comprehensive
day-to-day and emergency care for children in the BC school system.

Whether you are the parents of a child with diabetes
or a friend, family member, educator or medical professional, we need your help.

Please visit us on Facebook: Advocating for T1 Kids in B.C.
(request to join the group) or email us at type1advocacyinBC@gmail.com.
